Last week was ____'s birthday. I'd like to take this opportunity to use my one and only outlet to vent my never ending frustration affiliating my work. This particular individual a.k.a Lady Boss, threw a chair at me the moment I stepped into the event venue. Like WHAT THE FUCK right? I strongly believed that it was because I took TEN MINUTES to refresh myself from a long day at work and to change out of my working clothes into that dress. Reasonable? She had all the time and money in the world to get ready for the event. She made appointments in advance to do her hair, her nails, her lash extensions. Everything. I mean, it's understandable. She's the boss. But throwing a chair at me? And yelling at me to hurry up to re-count the number of seats and made sure it tallies with the number of pax they were expecting (that's okay, but) in front of guests? Before I headed to the event venue, she was extra pissy in the office. That is totally coherent cos she needed the event to be smooth-sailing. But out of the blue she said this, "Why didn't you do your nails? Why so ugly today? You always do your nails and lashes if there is an event why not today? My nails nice not I do this morning? I want you to look your best. Don't later people see you then laugh at you."

She didn't even like say thank you for all my efforts put in after the whole thing. I ran around in 5 inch wedges, perspiring, I didn't even get to eat in peace. The maid offered me like a bowl of laksa out of pity, as soon as I touched the spoon, she yelled my name. Two thumbs up. At 1130pm, she just said, "K you want to go now you can go, finish already." No thank you eh!!!! Other people get token, get hong bao, I get a chair thrown at me. Sibei power I tell you. Please don't be deceived by my pictures. I smiled in all of them cos I want to look good in my pictures. Other than that, I am damn motherfucking PISSED. I am now even more determined to keep scouting and applying for jobs everyday to get an interview and then I will leave this shit hole. I mean if the things I face at work reflects in my monthly pay, it's absolutely fine man but fuck no. Nabeh, I very angry. I need to hold my breath and count to ten. Sets of four. I hope you guys are having a better time out there. Much love. And sorry for the late update! Been angsty! xx
