C'EST LA VIE

This is the nail polish San bought for me (O.P.I Glow Up Already). I was tidying up my shelf and its shininess just begged me to snap a photo. Look at how pretty the glitters are! I must admit that it gets a little bit tricky when putting this on as it dries almost instantaneously so I got to be real quick. I think this is by far the nicest and unconventional one I own. I have this tendency to buy only nudes, metallic blues/greens, or different shades of pink for myself. Sadly, I realized that I experiment with bolder colors/textures/patterns only when I'm at the shop with Amanda.

I had to go for a job interview last week and this was some verification sticker I had to have on me. I was asked to type my info on this machine thingy to sign in and once done, I had to look at the camera so that the machine could save my picture. I didn't want to look like some grumpy asshole so I actually slipped in a neither here nor there smile. I look silly. But you know what I did? After the interview, I slowly peeled out the sticker and stuck it on my file for keepsake. Haha I'm an extremely sentimental person. I like to keep things. Don't judge me. Oh and good news, I got the job :) A new experience awaits me this Monday. I am not exactly stoked on waking up at 530AM everyday but the people seems much nicer there and that beats the shit hole I worked in previously.

Yesterday, I started on this while watching True Blood. No idea why but needless to say, the black one is San! >:)

Some clay cat figurine. San bought two for me to put in my room. We've been meaning to paint them for the longest time, I'll paint mine white and San will paint his black hahahahaha but eventually we never got around into doing it. As always. So one night I was really bored to death and decided to paint mine first! So it turned out like...........

Some more DVDs I rented. I really enjoyed watching the first two. It was so heartwarming. San noticed that I like shows that portrays good family ties, maybe because I lack them. You know sometimes when you yearn for something so badly in your heart but you know you'll never have it but you just keep hoping and hoping something will happen? I'm waiting but nothing ever comes so in the meantime, these kind of shows/books makes me feel like I am part of them. It makes me feel better. Even if it's just slightly.
This was yesterday before Iftar. We both may look ridiculously witless in here but we had one of the best conversations in months. I think that you can never put price tags onto the power of good conversations. It's absolutely precious and exceedingly wonderful that nothing under the damn sun can ever replace them. And also, I don't think there's anyone else quite like him either. x
